In November, El Salvador played host to a dazzling spectacle as models from 84 nations across the globe gathered to compete for the coveted title of Miss Universe 2023. This year, 84 contestants from around the globe will complete for the crown in the 73rd annual Miss Universe pageant, a prestigious competition that has previously crowned notable winners like Olivia Culpo in 2012.

Erica joined the Red Cross family with Red Cross Youth Philippines. She was able to talk to the youth and enjoy an activity day filled with all of them listening to their hopes and dreams for the future.

In the preliminary competition taking place in El Salvador for Miss Universe, contestants wore their national costumes for one of the events. The name of Erica’s national costume is Pehchaan which in English means individuality. Erica dazzled the crowd walking down the stage with great confidence and a strong sense of her own individuality.
