Queen Rania’s Reaction To The Arrival of Her First Grandchild: “You Have Brightened Our Lives with Our Precious Granddaughter, Iman”
Her Majesty shared a touching post across her official social media channels
Saturday, August 3 was a very happy day for Jordan’s Royal Family. Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa welcomed the safe arrival of their first child, a daughter named Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
The Royal Hashemite Court shared the following statement on Saturday morning announcing little Princess Iman’s earthside debut:
The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein were blessed, on 3 August 2024, with a baby girl they named Iman.
News of the little one’s arrival was also announced on The King of Jordan’s official social media channels, who seemed delighted at becoming a Grandfather for the first time.
“Praise be to God who gave us our first granddaughter, Iman bint Al-Hussein,” the posts on His Majesty’s official account reads in Arabic. “I congratulate Al-Hussein and Rajwa on their newborn baby. We ask God to give her good growth and protect her for her parents.”

Of course, Her Majesty Queen Rania also shared a touching message with the world, conveying her excitement at becoming a grandmother.
“Praise be to God for His greatest gifts… You have brightened our lives with our precious granddaughter, Iman. May God protect us from you. Congratulations to Hussein and Rajwa, and may God fill your lives with blessings and contentment,” she shared in a post in Arabic on her officially X, the platform formerly known as Twitter’s, account.

The Royal Hashemite Court shared a sweet video of the Crown Prince holding his daughter in the moments after she was born while performing the calling of adhan.
The royal couple have yet to share any more information regarding Princess Iman bint Al Hussein bin Abdullah II’s arrival.
