How Young Arab Royals Are Celebrating Their University Graduation

Royal students from the region received their degrees from educational institutes in the US over the weekend

As university semesters draw to a close around the world, families everywhere are celebrating the graduation of their loved ones.

This includes members of royal families from the Middle East, who have earned their degrees this session, with their overjoyed relatives eager to share in the excitement.

Bahrain’s His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Duaij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa was a proud father during the Commencement Weekend, during which his son, Sheikh Duaij, graduated from Georgetown University with an MSc in Management in Washington, US.

The Bahraini royal followed in his father’s footsteps, as His Excellency also holds a Master’s degree in Social and Public Policy from Georgetown University.

Sheikh Duaij was not the only royal at the ceremony. On May 18, royal twins Prince Muhammad bin Talal and Princess Rajaa bint Talal of Jordan also graduated.

The sibling duo were born to Prince Talal bin Muhammad and Princess Ghida Talal in 2001, and related to His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan through their father (who is his first cousin).
