Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, graced the entity’s Annual Alumni Forum, where a new award recognising graduates driving positive change was announced.
Hundreds of alumni from Qatar Foundation’s schools, international partner universities, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University attended the event to reconnect, share their journeys, and discuss career-related topics, with national dignitaries.
Always a vision of grace and elegance, Her Highness Sheikha Moza sported a dark teal abaya by Doha-based brand, Harlienz. The look was styled with a grey check suit jacket and a belt.
The event, also attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, ministers, dignitaries, and industry leaders, centered around social responsibility and moral commitment, underscoring the fusion of civic duty and Islamic values, according to a report by qf.org.qa
HH Sheikha Moza Attends Qatar Foundation’s Annual Alumni Forum: New Award Announced
The 2024 edition also introduced the QF Alumni Award. The criteria will be linked to each year’s theme of the event.
In this session, between 2024 to 2025, it will celebrate alumni who have contributed to society through their commitment to social responsibility and civic engagement across four categories.
Her Highness expressed her joy at attending the occasion and praised the graduates.
“Through their values, dedication, and social responsibility, they lead the way in changing the world for the better, making positive contributions to their communities,” she said. “I am proud of them, their achievements, and all that they do to strengthen their ties with the Foundation. Our future is brighter with them,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
