His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani confirmed today at a wedding in Doha that his own wedding will take place in just a few days, and the moment was caught on camera.
After months and even years of speculation about whether Qatari royal Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani was engaged, the royal has now confirmed the happy news himself.
Sheikh Khalifa, known as KHK, is the youngest son of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and his second wife, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. In 2023, he was appointed Qatar’s Minister of Interior, making him the youngest to hold such a position in the Arab world.
When is the wedding of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani?
The wedding is set to take place on December 6th and 7th in Doha.
The groom’s mother, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, will host a grand dinner banquet to celebrate the wedding of her youngest son on December 6th at Al Wajba Palace in Doha.
It has also been reported that the men’s celebration will take place on December 7th at Al Wajba Citadel.
Who is Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad’s Bride To Be?
Sheikha Fatima bint Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani is the daughter of Sheikh Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani, who was the team manager of Al Wakrah Football Club. There is limited information available about the bride, as she prefers to stay out of the media spotlight.
Given how high-profile Her Highness Sheikha Moza is, it’s expected that many prominent figures from around the world will attend, including Queen Rania and dignitaries from around the world.

Who is Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani?
Born in November 1991, His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani is the youngest son of the former Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
The 32-year-old GCC royal grew up in the country’s most populous city, Doha, where he received his early education before leaving for the US to pursue further studies. His Excellency graduated with a Public Policy degree in 2015, from the University of Southern California in the US. He also obtained a master’s degree in Public Diplomacy from the same university in 2017.
Currently, His Excellency has garnered a large online presence, where he shares glimpses of his life carrying out official duties, as well as how he spends his much deserved free time.
On Instagram, where the Qatari royal goes by the nickname KHK, the initials of his name, he has over 1 million followers.
