Here at Bazaar Arabia we love a modern-day female royal, one who inspires through action and isn’t afraid to chase her dreams — and Dubai’s HH Sheikha Mahra Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum is all of the above.
The daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai consistently inspired young women from the region and beyond, and is now making her first steps into the world of beauty and fragrance.
On Saturday evening Her Highness teased a video in her Instagram feed and on her IG Stories suggesting that she will soon be making her first foray into the world of perfume with Mahra M1.
While Sheikha Mahra has yet to share any details on when we can expect the fragrance line to debut she has created an Instagram account dedicated entirely to the brand: @mahraxm1.
The announcement of her fragrance brand comes nearly four months after she gave birth to her daughter, Mahra.

In August, Sheikha Mahra thanked her father for “marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone.”
“Dear Father, thank you for your support. Thank you for your love. Thank you for marking an era that justifies that there is justice for everyone. My respect and love, Mahra,” she wrote on the post, sharing a touching photo of herself hugging her father.

The Dubai royal and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia January 2024 cover star has been sharing insight into her personal life throughout the past few weeks via Instagram. Therefore, we can only assume she has been seeking out family support during tough times – like any daughter would.
“I take great pride in embodying the values of being Emirati, which include being a symbol of love, family, kindness, and camaraderie,” Her Highness told Bazaar Arabia back in January 2024, touching on how she feels strongly connected to both of her parent’s side.
“My upbringing was deeply rooted in Greek culture by my mother, and as a result, I feel a strong sense of connection to it. Maintaining close ties with my family is a significant priority in my life, as it serves as a means to remain closely connected to my cultural heritage.”
