Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman Celebrates His Birthday With The First Lady
The monarch turned 67 on October 11
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the Ruler of the Sultanate of Oman marked his 67th birthday on October 11 and a brand new photograph of him and his wife, Sayyida Ahad bint Abdullah bin Hamad Al Busaidiyah, the First Lady of Oman, was shared to honour the special occasion.
The couple can be seen seated together and engrossed in conversation in the heart-warming photograph. As always, Her Highness looked graceful and elegant in a dark blue jalabiya with what appears to be intricate embroidery around the neck, down the sleeves and length of the dress. She paired it with a matching, translucent shayla.
Sultan Haitham ascended to the throne as the Sultan of Oman on 11 January, 2020, succeeding his first cousin Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said after is passing. His prior political career saw his as a minister in the cabinet of Sultan Qaboos.
