UAE Public Holidays: A 3-Day Long Weekend is Only 3 Weeks Away

UAE Public Holidays: A 3-Day Long Weekend is Only 3 Weeks Away
UAE nationals and residents can expect a three-day long weekend at the end of the month of September 2023.

According to the official holiday list released by the UAE government at the end of 2022, Friday, September 29 will be a public holiday, in celebration of the Prophet Muhammed’s (PBUH) birthday which falls on Wednesday, September 27 (pending the moon sighting.) This means that the public and private sectors will have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off.
The next public holiday after the 3-day September long weekend will be National Day 2023 Long Weekend, which is expected to fall on the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd, 2023, with Commemoration Day falling on Friday, December 1st – meaning residents can expect another long weekend before the end of 2023.
