Nestled within Jumeirah Al Naseem’s serene grounds is a discreet, delicious new fine dining concept that is making waves amongst Dubai’s discerning diners: KAYTO, an exotic Peuvian-Nikkei pop-up restaurant led by Japanese-Argentinian Chef Christian Goya.
Yellowtail Sahimi With Jalapeno
Set strategically on Jumeirah Al Naseem’s beachfront, KAYTO offers diners specular views of the iconic Burj Al Arab. The decor is contemporary; a soft nude and blush palette provides the backdrop for elegant, mid-century inspired pieces. The lighting is thoughtfully designed to lend a romantic, intimate feel, setting the stage for a spectacular culinary experience.
Chef Christian Goya
Nikkei cuisine is a tantalising blend of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine and at KAYTO, Chef Christian has expertly blended mouth-watering Peruvian flavours with iconic Japanese culinary traditions to create an outstanding menu that is certain to delight. From ceviches and salads to tempura and tataki, the menu takes you on a journey showcasing what we feel are the highlights of Peruvian-Nikkei cusine.
Our favorites included the Tuna Truffle Ceviche, a delectable mesh of fresh tuna with rich truffle, the melt-in-your-mouth Saikyo Miso Black Cod and the tantalizing Coriander Rice with surprising bites of shrimp and hints of lime. With exceptionally knowledgeable and hospitable staff, in-house mixologist and a dedicated shisha lounge to complete the dining experience, KAYTO has officially made its way to the very top of our favorite Dubai restaurants list.
KAYTO pop-up is located at the Jumeirah Al Naseem and will run until May 2020.
