Bottega Residency brings writers, musicians, film directors and performers to a virtual laboratory of creativity

The latest fashion brand to take to digital platforms is Bottega Veneta, the Italian luxury brand beloved for its elegant footwear and unique take on accessories. The iconic fashion house has launched a new multi-platform concept to share strength, positivity and creativity across the globe during the uncertain times surrounding the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Bottega Residency is a virtual laboratory that allows its collaborators to share their sources of inspiration and host events. Promising a line-up that ranges from live music to cooking classes with up-and-coming chefs and even a Sunday movie matinee, Bottega’s workshop aims to “provide a sense of familiar normality.”

The Residency will be available to access across all of the brand’s online platforms, including Instagram, Youtube, Weibo, Line, Kakao, Spotify, Apple Music, as well as a mini-site on Bottega’s own website.

According to Bottega’s creative director, Daniel Lee, who will be the first to feature on the workshop, “Creativity and strength lie at the heart of Bottega Veneta. In this highly distressing time, we feel a responsibility to celebrate those values and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our community and beyond.”
