There’s An Instagram Devoted Entirely To Helping You Find Fashions From The New SATC Reboot

Tulle ballet skirts, Jimmy Choos, and a fushia Oscar De La Renta dress–fashion from the famed SATC series took on a life of their own.
A photo posted on Sarah Jessica Parker’s Instagram revealed a first sneak peek of the beloved SATC revival. Miranda, Carrie and Charlotte are seen strolling down the same New York City streets they did nearly 20 years ago. The reboot will stream on HBO Max in a 10 episode mini-series cheekily titled, And Just Like That. Directed and produced by Michael Patrick King, who wrote some of the most poignant episodes of the original show, we can expect the same punny dialogue and real life friendships of the leading ladies play out on screen. The question remains, will Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte retain the same fashionable characteristics we’ve come to know and love?
Lucky for us, our fashion prayers have been answered in the form of an Instagram: @JustLikeThatCloset. The account is lovingly curated by fashion student and SATC devotee, Victoria Bazalinchuk from Ukraine. Her no fuss simplicity in listing out the details makes for a beautiful feed. Each of her posts cut to the clothing chase, showing products appearing in stills from the new show with brand details and pricing.
The original SATC Costume designer, Patricia Fields (who famously paired a leather belt with a ball gown in SATC: The Movie) has passed the torch as she will instead be working her sartorial magic on Netflix’s Emily in Paris. Despite losing Field’s fashion sense, the clothes continue to speak for themselves in the new series.
Miranda is still Miranda, dressed in a smart, courtroom approved jumpsuit. Charlotte, is prim and proper in a off the shoulder ruffled blouse carrying a classic Chanel bag. And ever the trendsetter, Carrie, is seen wearing what could only be described as another whimsically thrifted find with gingham and punky heels working harmoniously in true Bradshaw form.
HBO has yet to announce a premiere date and while the revival has an air of uncertainty, an (Instagram) photo is worth a thousand words. Fashion can speak volumes and from the looks of it, the ladies of SATC have a chic one to tell.
