There a few things BAZAAR loves more than a fashion collaboration that marries the hallmarks of a 135-year-old fashion house with a contemporary label so seamlessly, you just know you’re looking at the next ‘it’ capsule collection of the season. Serpenti Through the Eyes of Alexander Wang is the latest collaborative offering from two of the most in-demand fashion houses of the moment.
Alexander Wang x Bvlgari is centered on the reinterpretation of the Iconic Serpenti Forever Bag, which Wang has reimagined – and just in time for Fashion Week, we hasten to add – in a belt bag, a duette, a shoulder bag, a shopping tote, satchel and Minaudière.
“When Bvlgari approached me to collaborate, I knew I wanted to create something that focused on the everyday overlooked items when purchasing luxury goods and transform it into something desirable for a global consumer of all ages,” says Alexander Wang.
