Who doesn’t love a good fashion throwback moment? Ariana Grande continues to look to the past for nostalgic dressing inspiration – and we certainly aren’t complaining. Yesterday, Ari was spotted in one of the naughties’ most memorable looks as she donned the famous Versace dress Jenna Rink wore in the teen flick 13 Going On 30. Well-known celebrity stylist, Mimi Cuttrell, styled the iconic dress on Grande.
As a judge on The Voice, the award-winning singer-songwriter stepped out in the very same dress that actress Jennifer Garner wore in the 2004 film, paying homage to one of films most iconic fashion moments.
The Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace went on to shower love on the pop sensation by posting her on her Instagram account “My gorgeous girl @arianagrande in Versace SS03 for her first The Voice live show!!! ??”, she said. Furthermore, Jennifer, who starred in the film, also gave the singer a special shout out by saying, “I know this dress!, It’s never looked better, @arianagrande ?”.
Ariana seems to be a massive fan of the movie as she has referenced the iconic film in the past. For her 2018 song, thank u next, the singer recreated a look from the movie in her music video, which featured cameos by many celebrities like Kris Jenner and Elizabeth Gillies. The video was well appreciated by Garner, the many famous faces that appeared in the music video and her fans.
The singer recently shared with her followers that she’ll be starring alongside Cynthia Erivo in the film Wicked.
