Jennifer Lopez Just Re-Wore Her Iconic Versace Gown On SNL
Sustainable fashion, but make it iconic
It’s pretty safe to say that 2019 has been JLO’s year – from celebrating her 50th birthday and being honoured as the new face of Coach, to strutting down that iconic catwalk for Versace in Milan, wearing a stunning rendition of the leaf-print gown that literally invented Google Images back in 2000, Lopez has arguably had the best year of her career so far.
In honour of the incredible year she’s had, the actress hosted her Saturday Night Live gig last weekend with an iconic surprise for her fans. After a flawless festive performance of Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Lopez swiftly swapped her tuxedo for her iconic Versace gown, that pretty much just redefined every meaning of the word ‘iconic’.
And while this isn’t the first time the actress has re-worn the stunning staple, you can hardly accuse Lopez of not welcoming the sustainability movement in fashion with open arms.
Needless to say, Lopez looks absolutely incredible while doing so. We’ll be taking notes.Â
