Razane Jammal Is Dior’s New Middle East Brand Ambassador

The Lebanese-British actress is now the face of the French luxury label’s women’s collections in the region

Razane Jammal has been unveiled as the newest Brand Ambassador for Dior in the Middle East and will be the face of the women’s collections by the French luxury label in the region, the brand announced on Wednesday.

Born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Razane stepped into the industry at the tender age of 15, acting in television commercials and regional campaigns in and around the region. She moved to London when she was 18 years old and eventually bagged her first prominent project in Oliver Assaya’s Carlos, playing the character of Lana Jarrar.

The 35-year-old is one of the up-and-coming actresses from the Middle East, most popularly known for her role as Maggie Mckillop, the protagonist’s love interest, in the Netflix’s Egyptian supernatural-horror-drama series Paranormal.

Her professional career includes collaborations with the likes of Liam Neeson, Kanye West and Robert Guédiguian, with whom she has appeared in the projects A Walk Among The Tombstones, Cruel Summer and Don’t Tell Me The Boy Was Mad.

Most recently, she starred in the Netflix adaptation of the same name of Neil Gaiman’s book The Sandman in the role of Lyta Hall. The series started airing on the streaming platform this year in August and has been receiving positive reviews from fans and critics alike.
