The UAE is known for its lavish iftars and delicious set menus during the holy month of Ramadan. Unfortunately, due to the on-going global health crisis and self-isolation restrictions, this special time of year is very different from the celebrations and decadent meals we’re used to.
Fret not, foodies! Many restaurants - including a few of our favourite upscale eateries - are offering upscale (not to mention tasty) iftar options, which can be delivered directly to your door from your favourite restaurants.

COYA Dubai has launched a special iftar menu, so you and your family can get your peruvian fix delivered straight to your home. The seasonal Ramadan menu is priced at Dhs230 and will be available to order until 19:30 every night throughout the holy month. Customers are encouraged to place their order at least two hours in advanced of sundown.For non-fasting guests, regular à la carte options can be ordered during usual timings from 12:00 – 22:30 daily.

French Mediterrenean cuisine enthusiasts rejoice as the famed restaurant is offering a special Iftar menu for Ramadan. The sharing meal for two is a set menu consisting of an assortment of dates, two starters, one main course, dessert and a soft drink for each person, available for Dhs490. The popular restaurant recently launched a delivery service with Deliveroo which now extends to new areas including DIFC, Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR, JLT and Palm Jumeirah. Contemporary Asian hotspot Wakame is offering a range of iftar bento boxes this Ramadan. Bentos start at Dhs180 and include their signature truffle chicken bento (Dhs180), prawn katsu bento (Dhs200), dynamite lobster bento (Dhs260), barbecue lamb tare bento (Dhs280), braised short rib bento (Dhs300) and the wagyu steak bento (Dhs320).The bento boxes are available daily until 23:00.

The renowned Indian post-modern dining hub has rolled out a special iftar menu, inclusive of some of the restaurant's famous dishes such as Chapli Kebab, Samosa, Moti Mahal Butter Chicken, Beef Nihari and much more. The dine-in special menu comes at Dhs150 and delivery special menu comes at Dhs65.

Wildfire by Doors Dubai
The luxurious fine-dining delivery platform established by Doors Freestyle Grill has curated a special Ramadan iftar kit to be delivered right at your doorstep. Priced at Dhs188 for two, this kit includes some of the restaurant's most famous dishes including Sphere of Wellness, Doors Iskender, Kaymak, Grilled Seabream, Lamb Tenderloin among others.

This unconventional Japanese eatery, which has been taking Dubai by storm with their Katsu Sandos, has introduced a wholesome six course Iftar set meal curated by founder Reif Othman. The set menu comprises of dishes such as kibbeh nayyeh with walnut pesto, grilled seabream with red yuzu koshu, milk date soufflé and more. The Iftar set is Dhs90 per person and a minimum order for two must be placed.

Ramadan Nights by Dish
Popular Iftar event Ramadan Nights by Dish is coming directly to your home this year. The event is usually a pop-up from Dish Catering, but due to this year’s restrictions, Ramadan Nights is now in delivery form. The three-course menu is curated to serve a minimum of four people, so it’s ideal for families. Some of the nourishing dishes worth trying are roasted beetroot hummus, sumac-marinated chicken wrapped in kunafa with mango chilli relish and the signature slow-braised shoulder of lamb in Middle Eastern spices, served with scented pilaf and confit garlic yoghurt. The iftar set menu is available with vegan options as well. The iftar set menu is Dhs200 per person (minimum four people).

This year, the renowned Address Hotels are providing takeaway and delivery Iftars so you can enjoy a lavish feast in the comfort of your own home. Dishes on the Iftar menu include lamb ouzi, sea bass charmoula, bamia bil laham and dessert including red velvet cake, cashew baklawa and kunafa bil-kishta. The famous Lebanese restaurant Al Nafoorah has curated traditional Arabic classics packaged as sharing kits this Ramadan. The Levant-inspired menu, curated by Chef Ali, comprises dates to break the fast, traditional Ramadan drinks, soup, options of mezzeh (hot and cold), a main course and dessert.
The Iftar set menus consists of a variety of traditional mains such as lamb ouzi, maghmour, or a mixed grill. Dessert options include popular dishes such as Um Ali, chocolate cardamom fudge cake and more. Prices range from Dhs265 for two people, Dhs495 for four people, and Dhs665 for six people.
