Over the weekend His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani wed Sheikha Fatima bint Nasser bin Hassan Al Thani in Doha, welcoming regional royals and international dignitaries to Al Wajba Palace to celebrate the nuptials.
While few details about the nuptials and the banquet – which Her Highness Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser Al-Missned hosted in honour of the couple – have been revealed to the public, images and videos of the men’s celebrations have been shared across social media.
Her Highness shared a touching photo of His Highness Sheikh Tamim, Emir of Qatar and The Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani at the marriage ceremony, along with His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Personal Representative of His Highness the Prince, and His Excellency Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani.

His Royal Highness Prince AlHussein bin Abdullah was seen arriving at the reception and being warmly welcomed by the Qatari Royal Family.
Who is HE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Hamad Al Thani?
His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa, also referred to under his nickname as KHK on Instagram, is the is the current Qatari Minister of the Interior and youngest son of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
The 32-year-old royal grew up in Doha where he received his early education before leaving for the US to pursue further studies. His Excellency graduated with a Public Policy degree in 2015, from the University of Southern California in the US. He also obtained a master’s degree in Public Diplomacy from the same university in 2017. He is the youngest royal ever to hold the position of Minister of Interior.
In his down time His Excellency enjoys fishing and skiing. Though he keeps a relatively low profile online, he is active on Instagram (@KHK) and occasionally shares a glimpse into his life with his 1.1 millon followers.
