Rihanna Just Cut Bangs for Fall, So Now We Will Too

The singer, designer, and makeup mogul stepped out with a new hairstyle

If everyone you know starts cutting bangs next week—blame Rihanna. The singer, designer, and makeup mogul stepped out in Paris last night at a Fenty brand after party wearing a new hairstyle: long, glossy, jet-black hair with piece-y curtain bangs. This isn’t the first time Rihanna has sported fringe, but it’s been a while since we’ve seen this sort of transformation.

Knowing Rihanna’s preference for changing up her look every other day, this new hairstyle is likely the work of faux bangs. Nevertheless, we’re loving this fresh cut. Bangs are one of the easiest ways to transform your haircut without losing any length. What’s even easier is a pair of clip-in bangs. Stars like Bella Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski are also fans of wearing bangs for an evening; you get the chic look without any of the commitment.

The Fenty designer paired her new hairstyle with a bold and creamy red lipstick. We’re 99% sure it’s either the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint with the balm layered over top, or a new satin formula that has yet to be released. The singer accessorized with black sunglasses placed on top of her head, chain necklaces, and pointy-toe pumps with a navy denim ensemble.

If you look closely, you’ll notice Rihanna rocking another major beauty statement: long white nails, squared off at the tip, with black designs painted on just a few fingers. Everything Rihanna touches turns into a trend, so while white polish is typically something we gravitate to in the summer, we now have Rih’s permission to wear it all fall long.
